
Born and raised in the Southwest, Michael Horanburg has dedicated his life to public service in the form of shaping policy and political affairs throughout the country. While at the University of New Mexico, Michael was appointed to serve as the Policy Analyst for Albuquerque’s City Council. Deciding to jump back into electoral politics, Michael has served as a Regional Grassroots Coordinator for NRA-ILA, Executive Director for the Republican Party of New Mexico, and as Political Director on a New Mexico gubernatorial election. In addition to his political work, Michael serves as the State Director for New Mexico Youth and Government, a program of the YMCA of Central New Mexico. Michael also serves on the Storehouse New Mexico Board of Directors, proudly giving back to the community he has called home for over 20 years.
A graduate of Hillsdale College, Paul Smith grew up in Las Cruces, NM. After gaining campaign experience at the Presidential and Senatorial level, Smith managed Rod Blum’s 2014 congressional race (named by Politico as one of the top five upsets in America) in Iowa's First Congressional District. Smith then served as Rep. Blum's Chief of Staff in the U.S. House, overseeing a first term that resulted in an 8-point reelection for Rep. Blum in a cycle that Blum was named the most vulnerable incumbent in Congress. He returned home to New Mexico in 2017 as Campaign Manager for a competitive gubernatorial race with a budget of over $5 million before joining Rival Strategy Group.
David Adkins grew up in Houston, TX. After high school he joined the Air Force and was stationed in New Mexico where he met his wife; they decided to make Albuquerque their home. Adkins has been a pastor and entrepreneur for over 20 years and one of his companies has been named one of the "Top places to work in New Mexico" for the past 5 years. Adkins has served in different capacities on campaigns for the past 10 years, in 2014 he was elected to the New Mexico House of Representatives where he served for 4 years, he was Caucus Finance Chair and Deputy Minority Whip. David, his wife and two children live in Albuquerque.
